The Galactic Butterfly - The Heart of Spiraliens

Explore my art here

A symbol older than memory

A spiral and portal between worlds

The Hunab Ku is believed to be the symbol of an ancient Mayan divinity— representing the sacred wheels of time, the heartbeat of the cosmos and the connection between all living beings. This symbol is the inspiration for my ‘Galactic Butterfly’ logo and sparks the creative energy behind my paintings.

Long before I knew its name, I felt its pull

The Hunab Ku symbol entered my life over two decades ago, as I began to follow the natural cycle of the moon — syncing my body, emotions, and spirit with the rhythms of nature.

Through something called the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, I discovered I was born a ‘Blue Planetary Hand’ — Kin 127 — part of a Mayan ‘Mystic Column’, which represents a bridge between two dimensions.

It is not a decoration. It is a reminder

It speaks of unity in diversity, movement within stillness, life dancing between opposites. It also reminds me how I have lived my life as a ‘bridge’ - between cultures, families and between inner and outer worlds.

This Symbol Guides My Process

When I paint, the energy of the symbol is never far away — sometimes quietly present, sometimes steering the movement of my hand.

This silent dialogue finds its way into my work and unfolds across my canvas.

It brings me joy to know that this energy now lives in the homes of those who feel it too.

You are part of the spiral. You are part of the flight

I invite you to explore my art not just with your eyes, but with your heart.

Feel the movement.

Sense the energy.

This is not just my story

 It´s all of ours.

 It is a collective remembering.

 Join me on this journey.
